What are N-Spec Tires?

Porsche is a world-renowned luxury vehicle manufacturer known for designing some of the highest performing vehicles on the road. When it comes to tires, Porsche is one of the only auto manufacturers that integrate tires into the vehicle design process from beginning to end. This makes sense when considering that the tires are the only point by which a Porsche touches the road. N-Spec tires are those that have passed Porsches' rigorous design and testing processes to confirm that their performances meet the highest tire manufacturer standards for handling, noise, hydroplaning, and high-speed durability. Only upon successful completion of rigorous testing does a tire qualify for the N-Spec label.   

New Porsche N-Spec Tire Sales

All late-model Porsches have a recommended N-Spec tire that has undergone a rigorous design and testing processes to confirm that their quality, performance, and durability meets that of the Porsche model in which they will be mounted. Rest assured that we carry your Porsche model's recommended N-Spec tire and can mount all new tires quickly and conveniently to specifications including balancing.   

Replacing N-Spec Tires 

Porsche generally recommends that tires match according to their N-specifications and have special tire replacement requirements when single tires are damaged and need replacement. If a damaged tire requires replacement, Porsche recommends replacing the other tire on the opposite side of the axle if the tire is 30% worn or more. If the Porsche was assembled with N-specification tires that are now discontinued, Porsche recommends replacing all four tires with the next higher N-specification number for that model.
