What Should I do if my Tire Won't Hold Air Pressure?

Sometimes it's not a big blow out. Sometimes it's a slow but steady leak that makes the tire go flat. This gradual flattening may be hard to catch at first. Check the tire out to see where the leak is coming from. If the wall has cracked or split, it may be time for a new tire. It could be as simple as the valve needing to be tightened. A simple puncture is easy to fix. If you don't see an obvious puncture, spray the tire with soapy water and listen for whistling. Likely, the tire needs a patching, or a foreign body (commonly a nail or other sharp object) needs to be removed.
