Full-synthetic requires petroleum resources but is considered to be a man-made lubricant. Semi-synthetic is like a blend of conventional and synthetic base stock. All motor oils should be changed as recommended.

When Does Motor Oil Need to be Changed?   

• Conventional oil should be changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

• Semi-synthetic should be changed every 5,000 to 7,5000 miles.

• Full-synthetic should be changed every 7,500 to 10,000 miles.
